CMA has been engaged to recruit for our professional services client based in Central Christchurch their requirement is for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Finance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the all-customer invoicing is correctly processed and supporting in a small and close-knit finance team.
Our client offers a permanent position paying up to £24,000 per annum depending on experience and relevant skills. Our client is open to training and would consider someone who has limited exposure to working in an accounts team.
What will the Junior Accounts Assistant role involve?
Ensuring sales ledger activity is correctly processed through a bespoke accounting package; Daily account reconciliations; Assisting in monthly management reporting; Processing and taking payments; Supporting in query resolution
Suitable Candidate for the Junior Accounts Assistant vacancy:
The Accounts Assistant will be able to demonstrate an understanding of sales and purchase ledger processing and query resolution; Ideally suited to a candidate looking for a long term move and to work for a professional business with long term opportunities to develop.
Confident communicator speaking to both internal and external parties.
