HR Advisor - Up to £40k - Chorley

We are currently working with a Chorley based organisation who are looking for a People Advisor to join their People Team on a full-time permanent basis.

Salary for the People Advisor is between £30,000 - £40,000 DOE.

The purpose of the role is to provide front line advice and management support on a range of people matters and to assist in the delivery of the people agenda to help ensure the organisation achieves its stated outcomes. You will be a role model for managers and colleagues ensuring that the culture remains fair and people feel empowered to work for the organisation.

The Role:

First point of contact for all things 'people' - escalating complex queries to the Head of HR
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
Coach and train managers at all levels on a range of low level HR issues
Take ownership of the employee engagement initiatives for the organisation
Support with the implementation of HRIS systems
Monitor and manage all the relevant HR spreadsheets and databases, ensuring all of the HR data is easily accessible and fit for purpose
Manage the on/offboarding processes
Design and delivery HR related training for managers
Look after L&D activity including taking responsibility for the apprenticeship system
Support with rewards and recognition projects and processes
Support the Head of HR with adhoc HR project-work

Requirements:

Full range of HR Generalist experience including L&D, recruitment, ER case management, HR policies and procedures, HR systems management, HR project support, etc
CIPD Level 5
Excellent relationship building skills with managers at all levels
Up to date knowledge of employment law
Passionate about all things 'people' with a proactive attitude towards day-to-day HR activities
