Maintenance Support Engineer
£39,579 - £48,000 per annum
Permanent Position
Working pattern of Week 1 - 6am till 2pm, Week 2 - 10pm till 6am, Week 3 optional
• Time served apprenticeship to HNC level or similar qualification in a related engineering field and experience within a similar role
• Multi-skilled training with ideally an electrical bias
• PLC fault finding and modifications experience

Details for a Maintenance Support Engineer
• Maintain and Improve availability targets for key performance equipment.
• Reduce changeover times for adaptability and capacity to within agreed targets, to be individually agreed per WorkCentre (TBA)
• Define and improve technical changeovers using lean techniques (i.e. SMED)
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities relating to Production, Engineering & Manufacturing
• Ensure all tasks are completed to the correct product quality standards
• Support Production with equipment modifications and new product introduction.
Working hours of a Maintenance Support Engineer
• 37.5 hours per week
• Based in Birmingham
• £39k to £48k per annum depending on experience
