Burman are supporting a leading Education client appoint an experienced Recruitment and HR Operations Manager. This role is pivotal in attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent while ensuring smooth HR operations across the institution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, talent management, and HR operations, with a passion for supporting the growth and development of faculty and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Strategy and Execution:

Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract diverse and high-quality candidates for faculty, staff, and administrative positions.
Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and priorities.
Oversee the full recruitment life-cycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
Utilise innovative recruitment techniques and tools to enhance the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.

Talent Management and Development:

Partner with academic and administrative leaders to identify talent gaps and develop proactive talent management solutions.
Implement talent development programs to nurture employee growth and career progression.
Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management, employee relations, and succession planning initiatives.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the institution.

HR Operations and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
Oversee HR administrative processes, including on boarding, off boarding, payroll, and benefits administration.
Maintain accurate HR records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Streamline HR processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Employee Engagement and Retention:

Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Conduct regular surveys and assessments to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Recommend and implement strategies to address retention challenges and promote a positive work environment
