• Salary - £40-£55k
• Car Allowance / Car - TBA

A main contractor with an annual turnover of £75m per annum that that operates within the London and Home Counties areas with public and private sector clients. Their project values range from £1m to £20m within the Education, Health, Commercial, Residential and Leisure sectors that are predominately Design and build, New Build and some Refurbishment works.
They have a good reputation for their diversity and have excellent long-term relationships with their clients.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor
You will join the commercial team and be office based with site visits when required. You will be responsible for assisting with the financial control of packages/projects assisting with the effective financial control at all times, providing accurate, detailed management and performance information to ensure they complete within budget.
You will complete a full range of commercial tasks from liaison with customers and internal managers, measuring, price, negotiate and agree budgets and costs for variations to projects scope, attend pre-contract meetings, undertake procurement activities, compile tender invitations and other duties as required.
You will
• Hold a relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Have a minimum of one year’s experience within a UK contractor.
• Be commercially and contractually aware.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Polished client facing.
• Keen to learn and progress.
• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Stable work history.
