Lead Game Designer

Double Eleven | Middlesbrough | Full-time | apply.workable.com |
As a global gaming company, we’ve helped millions to fight their way through fearsome mobs in Minecraft Dungeons, battle each other and the environment in Rust Console Edition and most recently worked with Bethesda Game Studios to craft new adventures for Vault Dwellers around the world in Fallout 76.

Most recently, we worked with Rockstar Games to bring the beloved western experience Red Dead Redemption and its horror companion Undead Nightmare together for the first time on the Nintendo Switch and modern PlayStation systems

We’re looking for a Lead Game Designer to join our award winning team in Middlesbrough (UK), home to the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline and countryside.

As a Lead Game Designer at Double Eleven, you’ll be transforming your and your team’s vision into coherent designs and direction. We seek individuals with experience overseeing a full game or large areas therein, that can also bring their experience working with and coaching other Designers.
You’ll collaborate closely with other designers, artists and gameplay code teams to shape and integrate your vision/s. You may also work with and assist production, to help task and track the project’s development, as well as oversee the work of Designers on the team.

You’ll work at our new HQ in Middlesbrough, UK.

Strictly no agencies (sorry guys). We can sponsor a visa for this role and offer a full relocation package (see below benefits!). Ramya Shreekanth is your recruiter POC if you have any questions.

We strive to avoid crunch. Overtime is optional and always paid, and we offer flexible working hours to allow you to enjoy a normal family life whilst making great games.

We can sponsor a visa for this role and offer a full relocation package (see below benefits!). We can support UK relocation and have a dedicated People team on standby to assist you and your family with every step to us.

Interested? We kindly ask all applicants to submit a portfolio to support their application.
