Evolve is recruiting for an innovative healthcare organisation that provides a first-class home delivery service for patients who require stoma care.

Our client is seeking a Stoma Care Nurse to join their team at Durham Hospital, where you will assess patients in their own homes, hospital, and GP surgeries, run nurse-led clinics, and implement clinical and product reviews.
This is a permanent position on a part time basis, working 22.5 hours per week (3 full days) on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – 8am to 4pm, with half an hour for lunch.

Salary and Package

£21,600 to £24,000 DOE (22.5 hours per week) plus a wide range of benefits including pension scheme, professional fees paid, private healthcare and many more!

Ideal Requirement for a Stoma Care Nurse
 •  NMC registered with post-registration experience in stoma or colorectal care.
 •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build great relationships with patients.
 •  Able to build positive relationships with colleagues and patients.
 •  Flexibility in order to meet patient and service needs.
 •  Full UK driving licence.

Role Responsibilities for a Stoma Care Nurse
 •  Deliver high quality, evidence-based care to all patients who have or may require the formation of a stoma.
 •  Provide expert advice and education for all staff within the hospital.
 •  Responsible for reviewing, auditing, and improving the quality of care delivered.
 •  Maintain excellent clinical and professional standards of work.
