Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Location: Manchester
Hours: 8-5 Mon-Fri (40 hours)
Salary: £27 to £37K dependant on experience
Contract: Permanent
We are currently looking for an Operations Coordinator for a leading national commercial roofing company, this position will be based in Manchester. The role will be to organise and manage the contracts department to ensure Quality, Safety, Programme and Financial objects are achieved.
Key Responsibilities for the Operations Coordinator:
• Organise, control, and manage contracts department.
• Submit offers to clients in punctual fashion.
• Liaise with Design team both internally and externally.
• Provide input on orders received.
• To assist the General Manager with monitoring the financial and programme of all projects.
• Programme works to suit the companies and Client objectives.
• Assist in drafting & issuing risk assessments, method statements, quality plans etc.
• Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with Company requirements.
• Liaise with the General Manager regarding costs, valuations, and project forecast.
• Develop client and supplier relationships to sustain the branch and General Managers objectives.
• To organise and direct all labour.
• To authorise timesheets and approve labour invoices.
• To coordinate deliveries with Main Contractor’s on-site systems.
• To keep paperwork records for Quality Assurance.
• To check and record labour outputs against timesheets.
Knowledge and Experience of the Operations Coordinator
• Previous Roofing Management Experience (Desirable)
• CSCS card (Desirable)
• Adaptability/Business awareness/Detail Handling/Initiative/Planning and Organising/Flat Roofing/Plant safety/Communication.
• General IT awareness
