Quality Assurance Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of products through analysis and adherence to quality standards.
Quality Assurance Assistant Duties:
• Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with company standards
• Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures
• Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
• Develop and implement quality control processes
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly
• Conduct GMP Audits and Food Safety Inspections
• Conduct traceability exercises according to schedule
• Complete Health and Safety Inspections
• Ability to analyse data and draw meaningful conclusions
• Complete Environmental Monitoring Statistics
• Manage the Product and Environmental Surveillance Plan (Microbial, Allergens, Chemical, Nutritional etc.)
Quality Assurance Assistant's Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience in quality assurance
• Training employees (induction, work instructions and procedures)
• Knowledge of HACCP principles
• BRC Standard
• Quality Management System
• Quality assurance
• HACCP & Food Safety Level 2 or 3
• BRC
• Quality Management Systems
• Knowledge of Quality and Food Safety principles
• Analytical skills
Quality Assurance Assistants Benefits:
• Salary: £30k to £35k (DOE)
• 23 days holidays plus BH
• Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm (some weekend cover)
