Location: UK I Exeter EX2 or Turo TR4 or Shoreham-By-Sea BN43 (Hybrid Flexible Working Options)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Depending On Experience)

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Pre-Sales Consultant to join our established UK team, providing technical solutions to new and existing customers on Networking, IT (local, cloud & hybrid) and Telephony (on-premises, private & publicly hosted) solutions.

You will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting business sales teams, account managers and partners on proposal activities.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Attend meetings with prospective and existing customers to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all required information is collated prior to producing a solution.
 •  Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes, seeking guidance from the technical teams on best practice and suitability.
 •  Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally.
 •  Deliver training on solutions and provide product support to Business Development Managers, Account Managers & channel partners.
 •  Create design configuration documentation, based on proposed solutions, including network diagrams and technical design.
 •  Work with the Product Team to feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products.
 •  Meet individual and team KPI’s in relation to deal closure where pre-sales involvement has been provided.
 •  Able to understand business drivers and risks involved to the customer and Focus Group
 •  Provide bill of materials for solutions and liaise with suppliers as required.
 •  Responsibility for the complete technical sign off on sold solutions and working alongside technical teams to ensure solution compatibility.
 •  Provide accurate and timely management information, to include – work in progress reports, bid reviews and KPI’s.
 •  Structure and produce compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation outlining the cost savings and business benefits.
 •  Provide sales staff with regular product training/updates to ensure that the sales team have a comprehensive understanding of our product portfolio and are self-sufficient where possible.
 •  Interface with the delivery / project team, articulating customer requirement, to ensure smooth transition from Sale to Delivery

Skills and Experience
 •  Strong foundation across varying technologies in Networking, Communications, and IT.
 •  Experience in designing networking solutions (including WAN, LAN, wLAN technologies) and unified communications solutions (including hosted UC, Contact Centre, Peripherals)
 •  Experience in IT solutions and services would advantageous.
 •  Experience with the following vendors would be advantageous: Microsoft 365 and Teams, Gamma Horizon and Wildix, LG Cloud, Meraki, SonicWall
 •  Experience in a customer-facing, technical sales role.
 •  The ability to evaluate and understand a customer’s business needs/objectives and design a solution to meet those needs.
 •  Excellent presentation and communication skills.
 •  A desire to understand relevant new technologies as they come to market and a keen interest in the continued development of your technical skill set.
 •  Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work accordingly.
 •  Full drivers licence and willingness to travel through sales territory.
 •  Experience in producing high quality commercial proposals including design, solution overview and pricing.
 •  Maintain a strong working knowledge of networking and unified communications products in the SME and Enterprise market.
