We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 qualified Room Leader to join our nursery team. You will be joining an Ofsted rated GOOD nursery with helpful and supportive staff with opportunities to progress your career and attend leadership and management courses.
At our Nursery we value our staff and help support them in their professional development as well as offering lots of staff rewards. As a Room Leader you would be part of the leadership team working alongside with the management team.
We have dedicated rooms for our various age ranges and each room reflects the seven areas of learning, as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage. All of our facilities are designed to be accessible to every child.
The nursery provides a nurturing home-from-home environment, for children aged 3 months through to preschool age. With an emphasis on learning through play, our carefully selected team of practitioners ensure your child is cared for in a safe, secure environment, with planned activities to keep them engaged whilst having lots of fun.
MAIN DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES
• To take responsibility for observing, planning, tracking and evaluating the learning and development of key children and setting individual targets.
• To support the Senior Management Team and staff in providing a high quality childcare provision and to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the nursery.
• To supervise and manage specific areas of activity and follow planning as required.
• To initiate, implement, set targets and review Individual Education and Learning Plans through regular liaison with the Management and other practitioners
• To comply with the Settings Policies and Procedures at all times, especially Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, Safeguarding and behavior Management policy.
• All staff are expected to take part in the planning and management of nursery initiatives and promote the nursery at all times and attend Open Days and staff meetings
