Tier 1 Automotive interior trim supplier, manufacturing award winning products for the largest vehicle volume OEM's in the UK. The business provides a one stop solution for customer’s needs.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventative maintenance measures
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment and machinery
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to management
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and components
• Experience with supervising and leading a team of technicians is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic repairs on machinery and equipment
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
• Welding experience is a plus
Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on providing high-quality maintenance support
