Location: Knowsley, Liverpool
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 (DOE) + monthly bonus
Shifts: Monday- Thursday 08:00- 16:30 & Fridays 08:00-13:00hrs

Our client is a well-established, world leading manufacturing business that produce and supply their specialist products to high profile customers within the MOD, Automotive and Medical industries around the world.
Through growth and investment, the company are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer, to work alongside the Senior Engineer, providing production support for equipment and processes at their expanding site in Knowlsey.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants secure employment, within a growing business, which will give plenty of opportunities to develop their career.
As the Manufacturing Engineer, your duties will include; Create and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance schedules for key manufacturing equipment.
Provide reactive breakdown support in a busy process and production machinery environment.
Anticipate any issues to avoid production impact.
Engage in creative problem solving to address operational issues, including efficiency improvements, process bottlenecks and quality concerns.
Identify or design tools and fixtures to aid production.
Manage key projects and liaise with the Senior Manufacturing Engineer and stakeholders.
Generate and implement additional SOP's.
Order any tooling as required.
Maintain records as required.
As the successful Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the following skills/experience; Have a BTEC/HNC qualification within Mechanical Engineering.
Must have previous working experience as a Manufacturing Engineer - ideally minimum of 5 years.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Versatile and a self-starter, able to work without supervision.
Excellent communicator.
Ability to plan and prioritise workload to ensure projects are on schedule.
Excellent team player
