Job Profile
Our client a multi-disciplinary consultancy, based near Islington, are currently seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join them due to continued growth. In this opportunity the successful candidate will be undertaking all associated duties which are required by our client whilst reporting back to the Building Surveying Directors.
Projects will include office and residential refurbishments and historic building conversions.
It is envisaged that the successful candidate is a Chartered Member of the RICS with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
Chartered Building Surveyor Position Remuneration
• Salary: £60k - £75k DOE
• Support with professional training and progression
• 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Chartered Building Surveyor Position Overview
• Job Type: Permanent
• Job Location: Near Islington
• Job Title: Chartered Building Surveyor
• Salary: £60k - £75k DOE
• Start date: ASAP (happy to wait for notice periods)
• Reporting to: Building Surveying Director
• Working hours: Monday to Friday - 9.30am to 5.30pm

Selected Duties Will Include:
• Assisting to supervise and develop staff, including their APC training
• Have good presentation and communication skills, in verbal, written and drawn media
• Being able to work independently
• Must be able to meet deadlines
• Contract Administration
• Feasibility Reports
• Party Wall Matters
• Project Management
• Construction Design
• Dilapidations
• Building Surveys
• Preparation of Specifications and drawings
• Fire Insurance Valuations
• Conservation Work

Chartered Building Surveyor Position Requirements
• Chartered member of the RICS
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a PQE
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Especially Excel and Word
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Excellent interpersonal skills
