About Our Client

The business are a global manufacturer of non food consumer goods, with their products being food in millions of households across the world. They have a portfolio of instantly recognisable brands, as well as manufacturing private label products for the supermarkets, retailers, and wholesale channels.
They are now looking for a Business Development Manager in the North to join their private label team.

Job Description

As Business Development Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

 •  Manage and build relationships with existing clients
 •  Drive new business across your assigned territory
 •  Develop and implement strategic sales plans
 •  Stay informed of market trends and competitor activities
 •  Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs
 •  Analyse market information and forecast sales information to aid the development and implementation of the sales strategy
 •  Report and analyse sales activity to drive corrective measures towards increasing visibility and profit

The Successful Applicant

A successful applicant should have the following:

 •  Strong sales and negotiation skills
 •  Proven track record of delivering growth in a manufacturing business (FMCG experience is desired but not essential)
 •  Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
 •  A results-driven attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
