Newark Care Home is set in the suburbs of Port Glasgow and is easily reached from the surrounding areas of Greenock, Bishopton, Erskine, Paisley and the Western suburbs of Glasgow. The home is custom designed and built to meet the needs of older people, with large comfortable lounge areas to relax in and comfortably socialise with others.
All surroundings are of a high quality and there are outdoor areas and gardens to take in fresh air and enjoy the seasons.
EMPLOYEE PERKS INCLUDE: Joining Bonus - £2000 bonus after passing your 3 month probation.
Retention Bonus – £500 Bonus after 1 year service, £1,000 bonus after 2 years and £2,000 bonus 3 years after and each year subsequently.
Excellent hourly rates – above average basic rates and out of hours top-ups.
Unlimited free training - access to our NEW training platform with over 100 free courses.
NMC Subscription – fees paid every year and support to complete revalidation.

Requirements
Duties will include but not limited to:
Assist the Manager and Deputy Manager in providing a home for residents which promotes a caring environment through high standards of professional practice
Meet the care needs of residents whilst promoting dignity, privacy, safety and independence
Act as a supportive and effective leader
Attend all in house and external training as required
Perform all nursing duties to a high standard
Complete physical and psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
Safely administer medication and keep records.
Ensure effective rotas are in place.
Register with the relevant professional bodies.
