JOB TITLE: Cleaning Operative
LOCATION: Bio City, Boness Road , Newhouse, Chapelhall, Motherwell
SHIFT PATTERN:
Mon -Fri - 0600 -1000, 20 hours per week
or
Mon -Fri 14.30 -1800, 17.5 hours per week
PAY RATE: £11.44 per hour

As a Cleaning Operative at ABM UK, you will play a key role in ensuring that our clients' sites are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, in line with their specific needs.
You will be joining a team of over 3,500 skilled and motivated people, who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering excellence in all aspects of facility services.
Responsibilities
• Operating cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, sweepers, and scrubbers
• Emptying bins and other waste disposal tasks
• Maintaining adequate supply levels of cleaning materials and reporting any shortages to the supervisor
• Following health and safety regulations and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
• Reporting and addressing any maintenance or repair issues onsite
• Supporting the team in other general cleaning duties as required
Requirements
• Previous experience in a cleaning or similar role
• A proactive approach to work and good time management skills
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• A high level of attention to detail
• Flexibility to work different days and shifts
• Must be able to provide satisfactory employment references and be eligible for employment in the UK.
