Bar/Restaurant Manager - Live-In Available

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to join our client's team and lead their dining and beverage operations.

As the Restaurant and Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant and bar, ensuring that every guest enjoys a flawless dining experience. From managing day-to-day operations to leading a team of dedicated professionals, you will play a key role in upholding our reputation for excellence.
In addition to your managerial duties, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the unique culture and beauty of the Isle of Mull, with subsidised accommodation provided as part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Lead and manage the restaurant and bar team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
 •  Oversee all aspects of dining and beverage service, ensuring that standards of quality and hospitality are consistently met and exceeded.
 •  Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue growth.
 •  Collaborate with the executive management team to develop seasonal menus, wine lists, and specialty cocktails that reflect our commitment to excellence.
 •  Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to meet demand while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
 •  Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
 •  Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.

Requirements:

 •  Proven experience in restaurant and bar management, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
 •  Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
 •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with guests and colleagues at all levels.
 •  A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
 •  Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
 •  Scottish Personal Licence
 •  Two years' experience, including managing a high-volume restaurant or bar
 •  Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
