Connect Appointments have an exciting new opportunity for a Heavy Machinery Plant Manager to join our client on a permanent basis in Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire!
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 per annum (DOE)
Our client is entering an exciting period of expansion as they undertake more projects involving earthworks and groundworks. This role will involve travel within the Central Belt, so a driving licence is essential.
As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Canvassing for new business and contractual opportunities
• Completing site inductions and producing quotes for works
• Undertaking risk assessments and auditing
• Liaising with clients consistently to ensure success
• Looking for areas where efficiency can be maximised
The successful Plant Manager will have:
• At least 3 years of successful plant management and project management experience
• A valid driving licence
• The ability to work well with clients to deliver an excellent service
• Strong knowledge of key health and safety practices
• Excellent communication skills
