Our client is an established family run business who supply healthcare products and equipmetn in th UK.
They are looking for someone who wants a long-term career who can work effectively within a small team.
The role will be to handle goods in, process paperwork, liase with office admin staff, manage stock control, servicing/cleaning/ fitting parts to specialist seating.
You must be outgoing, team player, proactive, uses initiative and able to retain information.
Must have a number of years of warehouse experience, understanding of stock control, takes great pride in your work, eager and willing to learn and be part of a team.
Training will be given for this role
Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative
 •  Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming goods.
 •  Ensure all goods are stored appropriately and safely within the warehouse.
 •  Will be traned in servicing/fitting parts to speaciaised chairs.
 •  Process all paperwork associated with incoming and outgoing goods efficiently and accurately.
 •  Maintain organised records of all transactions.
 •  Collaborate closely with office administrative staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination between warehouse operations and administrative functions.
 •  Implement and maintain effective stock control procedures to optimize inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.
 •  Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy.
 •  Perform servicing, cleaning, and fitting tasks on specialist seating according to established procedures and quality standards.
 •  Ensure all work is completed to the highest level of quality and efficiency.
About You
 •  Must have been employed for a longer period 3+ years with the same company.
 •  Proven experience in warehouse organisation to maintain it to high standard levels.
 •  More than 5 years Warehouse Operative experience
 •  Experience in stock control, quality control.
 •  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
 •  Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
 •  Demonstrated understanding of stock control principles and practices.
 •  Able to be trained in servicing/fitting parts to specialised chairs/equipment when required.
 •  Have a full clean driver’s license to be able to deliver locally if required.
 •  Want a long term career within a small team who has an individual responsible role to be part of a successfully growing business
