Our client, a world-renowned Food manufacturer based in Leicestershire is looking for a QC Operator to join its team. The successful candidate will be performing quality control checks on food products with all associated documentation and responsibilities.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, responsibilities for the role will include:
• Calibration checks of equipment
• Checking compliance of delivered and packed products to specifications reporting any issues to QA Supervisor
• Inputting of data onto the QMS
• Preparation of production sample kits
• Hygienic sampling of incoming ingredients
• Managing product retests
• Assisting with development of systems and controls and paperwork reduction
• Involvement in foreign body and complaint investigations
Essential / Desirable skills include:
• Organised and logical approach with the ability to work both on own initiative and as part of a team
• Excellent communications skills with a good standard of spoken and written English
• Assertive and confident
• A good level of IT skills and computer systems knowledge
• Driving licence and own vehicle due to the remote location of the site

The working hours for the role are Monday to Thursday 7:15am – 4:00pm and Friday 5:15am – 2:00pm. The salary is circa £26k per annum plus overtime and benefits package. Due to the location of the site a driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
