Fantastic Opportunity for a Pensions Administrator to Join a Company based in Redhill
Job Description
• Process pension scheme member data accurately and efficiently.
• Handle pension scheme member enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of pension scheme member contributions, benefits, and entitlements.
• Process pension payments and manage pension scheme finances in accordance with regulations.
• Liaise with pension scheme trustees, pension providers, and other stakeholders as required.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in pensions legislation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the preparation of pension scheme reports and documentation.
The Successful Applicant
• Strong understanding of pensions legislation and regulations.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel particularly VLookups, Pivot Tables and Formulas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Professionalism and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Considerable experience in a pensions administration role
• Excellent technical and operational knowledge of UK contracted-out defined benefit pension schemes, also experience in defined contribution schemes is desirable
• Track record of performing and checking member benefit calculations including ability to apply complex history of legacy arrangements
• May be working towards an accountancy degree
