A leading premium automotive business and leading to move towards electric autonomous vehicles.
What To Expect This is an excellent opportunity to work with the Calibration Subject Matter Experts within the Calibration Chapters to analyse the field vehicle data, in order to help improving the quality of the calibration and controls on all JLR programs.
Using cloud data and visualisation dashboards, you will develop the key performance indicators (KPIs) to feedback improvement opportunities to the wider powertrain team.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
• Gather requirements for data analysis from all stakeholders in the Calibration Chapter.
• Understand the current data analysis tools used in the department and develop new dashboards to visualise KPIs.
• Showcase the new dashboards to the wider powertrain community to provide quality status and help communicate quality issues.
• Work with SMEs and Control Engineers to define new requirements for data collection from the robustness and customer vehicle fleets.
• Collaborate with Data Prognostics team to develop capability for big fleet data analysis.
• Support all stakeholders to raise and resolve issues.
What You’ll Need
• Experience with data analysis and data visualization.
• Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to abstract technical KPIs from data to drive continuous improvement.
Experience with Tableau
• Experience with MATLAB/Python/R/Minitab or data analysis and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of electric and hybrid powertrain architectures.
• Knowledge of Data management tools (Google Cloud)
