At Protocol Education we are currently looking for a resilient and enthusiastic SEMH/ Behaviour Support to work full time in SEMH schools across West Yorkshire.

We have developed a fantastic reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality Behaviour Support to work with these schools to positively impact the progress and attainment of their pupils.

About the role:

Our Behaviour Support duties can include:

Guide and monitor pupil progress to identify areas that require improvement.
Support the emotional, physical, and social development of pupils.
Prepare classrooms prior to lessons; they also clean up afterwards.
Help teachers in preparing materials that meet the development requirement of children.
Organise and supervise pupils during project and sporting activities.

The ideal Behaviour Support applicant will have:

Ability to communicate clearly with Teachers and younger individuals.
Active listening skills.
Be able to create and maintain strong relationships with students.
Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils.
Understanding and sensitivity towards children.
Excellent knowledge of lessons that pupils are required to learn in class.
