Description
We are currently seeking a Product Support Analyst to join the Application Support team, supporting local authorities in utilising Liquidlogic's market leading Education and Social Services and Case Management software.
Duties and Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
• Involved in reviewing incidents raised from major release testing and identifying issues from UAT rounds and addressing any issues prior to a customer going live
• Provide help to the Application Support team with product queries raised by Local Authorities via Jira covering the whole Liquidlogic product suite
• Liaising with customers directly via phone to review outstanding issues and prepare for the Live upgrade
• Producing written training material for the wider Application Support Team
• Rotate into the Implementations team for up to 3 months of the year to be involved in customer implementations and configuration sessions, ensuring product knowledge remains up to date
• Working closely with other Divisions, particularly Product and Professional Services.
• Actively dial into customers network/systems to review Incidents via Jira that have been passed from another team to Product Support
• General admin duties as required
Skills and Experience
This is a customer facing role which requires good interpersonal skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work as part of a team but also demonstrates initiative when working alone. This is together with the skills outlined below:
Essential:
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge and experience of working with SQL Server and writing SQL / T-SQL queries for fixing data issues
• Strong Liquidlogic Product knowledge
• Ability to prioritise and execute tasks
• Excellent time management/ownership of personal Jira queues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills both internally and externally and ability to communicate with other members of the team
Desirable:
• Knowledge/experience of 2nd line software support
• Jira/Confluence knowledge
• Supporting external customers using remote software
• Knowledge of Social Care/Education processes
