A growing children's home provider in Wolverhampton are recruiting for a Registered Manager for their soon to open 3 bedroom, LD home. This will be the 3rd childrens home they have opened, with the existing 2 being 'good' and 'outstanding' homes.
The new home has gone through extensive renovation, making it purpose built for the young people who will live there. Each of their existing homes have been developed to have a 'family feel' making them a home away from home for their staff. This family feel is also seen across the business, with giving back to staff something that the owners believe is important.
Your new role
This role will be managing a newly opened 4-bedroomed LD children's home in Wolverhampton. You will be managing and supporting staff on a day-to-day basis and will be responsible for ensuring that all of the young people are receiving outstanding care, enabling them to succeed to the best of their abilities.
You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards as set out by their existing homes but will have the support of senior management throughout this.
What you'll need to succeed
 •  Hold a QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management qualification in residential care for children and young people
 •  You must have at least 2 years' experience of managing a home of 'Good' or 'Outstanding'
 •  You must have at least 4 years' of experience of working within childrens residential care, ideally within LD settings although EBD experience will also be considered
