Digital PR Account Director, Oxford
MOXIE AND METTLE LIMITED | Oxford | jobs.theguardian.com |
Your opportunity to join an award-winning PR agency based in Oxford specialising in digital PR, content, social media, and influencer marketing as a PR Account Director.
One day you’ll be working on a dog food brand, next day travel, mixed in with some food and tech, both b2b and b2c.
This is a chance for you to use your creative PR skills and knowledge of working on big brands to develop high profile campaigns, for well known brands.
Reporting to the Comms Director, as a senior lead, you will have your own client portfolio and dedicated team.
No two days are the same, but responsibilities include:
• leading 4-6 accounts, ensuring we are continuously hitting KPIs and demonstrating impact to each client. developing digital PR and social strategies which help clients meet their business goals, collaborating with the creative and planning team to maximise impact. designing and leading large-scale, KPI-busting campaigns from start to finish. being part of a winning new business pitch team managing 2-3 direct line reports, helping each one flourish and contribute to the agency’s success.
About you:
• you definitely have agency experience running big campaigns across PR and social channels OR experience running digital PR campaigns… even better if you have both. be creative and intellectually curious, with a passion for brand communications in earned media. be a critical thinker; from dissecting a brief and developing the strategy through to analysing results and making recommendations for optimisation. thrive off team leadership and know that if your team is getting great results (and is happy doing it), then that can only reflect well on you. be trusted and well-liked by clients, able to influence them through well-considered counsel that builds confidence in you and your agency.
Benefits include:
Hybrid working as standard, 3 days in office in Oxford, 2 days’ work from anywhere plus flexible working hours.
5 weeks holiday (plus birthday day off, and ‘3 for 2’ over Christmas)
Enhanced employer pension contribution
Health cash plan
Personal access to the training platform
Relocation support package if you want to get closer to Oxford.
Cycle to work & EV salary sacrifice scheme.
Salary circa £50k, depending on the level at which you current operate and your aspirations!
So, for example if you are a top-class Senior Account Manager and just on the verge of Account Director level, we’d love to hear from you.
If you are already an Account Director and would like more responsibility, a step up or a change for career progression reasons, we’d love to hear from you too!
