Assistant Workforce Information Analyst
Department: Workforce Information Team
Band 4
Hours: 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for a Workforce Information Assistant.
The role will support the Workforce Information Analyst in the provision of workforce information and the development of workforce information systems. This will involve the manipulation and analysis of data with appropriate tools to produce reports and graphical representations, which provide important workforce indicators in an informative way.
These are necessary for the purpose of annual workforce planning process; monthly KPIs for dashboards; and regular reports.
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and already possesses excellent computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. This will include Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, but you will need to have strong Excel skills. You should also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
You should have keen attention to detail; good organisational skills; and be able to complete tasks to strict deadlines. The successful applicant will have good interpersonal ability; enjoy helping people; be a team worker; and have an approachable attitude.
Please note that in addition to the interview you will be tested, which will include an Excel spreadsheet exercise.

The post holder will work in the Workforce Information Team and will assist in the production of workforce and manpower information for Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH) NHS Foundation Trust and act as first point of contact for all queries to the Workforce Information Team.
In addition the post holder will support the maintenance and usage of the computerised payroll and personnel information system, the Electronic Staff Records System (ESR).
