I am seeking an established Service Manager to oversee a beautiful Residential service within Ely in Cambridgeshire. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a rehabilitation service for adults with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).
The service supports people who have sustained a life changing injury such as a stroke or a traumatic brain injury who are well enough to leave hospital, but that require intensive rehabilitation before they can safely return home.

The team within this service includes a multi-disciplinary team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and speech and language therapists, who work collaboratively with support workers to enable individuals to achieve their goals, such as regaining the ability to walk, talk or re-learn daily skills.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the service to ensure the highest quality standards of treatment and care.

Key Responsibilities of a Service Manager:
 •  Responsible for the management and supervision of staff to enable them to maximise their potential, through leadership, coaching, example, support and guidance.
 •  Responsible for budget management.
 •  Adhering to all CQC regulations and raising standards of care where necessary.
 •  Be responsible for the negotiation of contracts and fees with Local Authorities and PCT`s for new and existing services.
 •  You will be required to maintain the high care standards that have been set in the home and be an excellent manager of staff.

Key requirements a Service Manager must have:
 •  An experienced Service Manager with a QCF (NVQ) level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent
 •  A record of managing a high quality, residential service
 •  A strong commitment to person-centred independence-building services
 •  Experience of managing budgets and financial systems
 •  An experienced people leader with a track record of developing a team and managing performance

This is a full-time role, and flexibility may be required according to the needs of the service you support. A generous salary is on offer for this role up to £48,000 and company benefits.

You will be joining an established care organisation with a great reputation, growth plans and great progression opportunities! Does this sound like an exciting next step in your career?
