Location: Washington, Tyne & Wear
Salary: £23 - £26 per hour
Contract: Part Time, Permanent
GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated Math Tutor to provide extra support to Post 16 students in Washington. This role involves delivering tailored tuition sessions to help students improve their mathematical skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition sessions to Post 16 students.
Identify areas of difficulty and adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.
Track student progress and provide regular feedback to promote improvement.
Requirements:
A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
Previous experience tutoring Maths at Post 16 level.
Excellent communication skills and a patient, supportive approach to teaching.
Please be advised that these roles require a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
