Deputy Post Office Manager

As a Post Office Deputy Manager with Scotmid Co-operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of a busy post office branch. Working closely with the Post Office Manager, you will assist in managing the day-to-day activities of the branch, providing excellent customer service.
Your responsibilities will encompass various administrative and operational tasks to maintain the branch's high standards and meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide accurate information about postal products and services.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and packages accurately.
• Operate postal equipment and computer systems to process transactions and track shipments.
• Ensure compliance with postal regulations and security protocols.
• Handle cash transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and report discrepancies.
• Ensure the security of mail, cash, and customer information.
