Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Location: Luton, United Kingdom
Salary: £85 - £95 per day

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team in Luton. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, starting immediately.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, ensuring their educational and personal needs are met.
Support the classroom teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Collaborate with other members of the SEN team, teachers, and parents to monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions.
Promote independence and confidence in students with SEN.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is essential.
A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
