Position Overview: We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department in managing day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring financial integrity across all aspects of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
 •  Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents in a timely manner.
 •  Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
 •  Assist in preparing financial reports, budget forecasts, and variance analyses.
 •  Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
 •  Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries.
 •  Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
 •  Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in accounting and finance.

Requirements:

 •  Proven experience as a Finance Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
 •  Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
 •  Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
 •  Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
 •  Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
 •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 •  Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus.
