On behalf of an award-winning charity we are actively recruiting for motivated Care Assistants on Days and Nights to join their friendly Residential Care Home in Tunbridge Wells on permanent contracts.

This beautiful 50 bedded elderly care home is committed to delivering high quality care to their residents, supporting them to feel independent and comfortable in their later years within an attractive and welcoming environment. The period building has recently undergone an extensive renovation, enabling the home to offer high-quality care in a modern and luxurious setting

The service offers high-spec facilities and technology paired with a varied and engaging programme of daily activities, including in-house events as well as trips and outings. The home also has on offer number of comfortable and welcoming communal areas, along with a variety of freshly cooked meals for residents to choose from each day.

A full training and induction programme is the standard for all new Carers joining the team and ongoing support is always available from the Home Manager and experienced staff members.

The care home is located in Tunbridge Wells, a short 10 minute walk from the train station with multiple bus routes running nearby.

Key duties for care assistants
 •  Assisting residents with personal care, for example with washing, shaving and other aspects of personal hygiene
 •  Supporting with manual handling and assisting residents to move around the home, using equipment where required
 •  Work collaboratively with a team of other Carers to provide a high quality of person-centred care
 •  Assisting with food and drink throughout the day

Desirable for Care Assistants:

 •  Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker
 •  NVQ’s within Health and Social Care.
