Multi-Trades Recruitment is looking for a Class 1 Day Driver & a Class 1 Night Driver to work with a well established company.
Start - ASAP!
Duration - Permanent Position
Site Post Code - LA3 3PP
About You:
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a class 1 driver.
Must have a CPC
Must have a Tacho card
Must be available for an immediate start.
About The Job:
Monday to Friday
Day driver 06:00-18:00 - 12 hour days
Night Driver 18:00-06:00 - 12 hour nights
Job Responsibilities;
• Abide by health and safety requirements.
• Conduct daily walk around checks on a regular basis of both the lorry unit and the trailer/ fridge.
• Adhere to speed limits at all times and drive with care and attention, being aware of other vehicles, road users and pedestrians.
• Adhering to all relevant driving regulations and company policies.
• Treat with care and attention and respect all items of Customer and Company property.
• Communicate any problems immediately to the appropriate Operations Manager, Planning Managers, Compliance, or the Fleet Maintenance Manager.
• Deal with Customers in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner at all times.
• Refuel on a regular basis and show and practice good fuel saving efficiencies when out on the road.
• Abide by drivers’ hours, tacho and rest periods.

We are looking for 2 experienced local drivers for Heysham. You will be expected to share a lorry and work on either an early/days or late/nights basis
