£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, FTE

3 days per week, 22.5 hours

This role is part time, working 22.5 hours per week. Ideally, this will be over 3 full days (9am-5:30pm), however, this can be spread over 4 or 5 days if required. Please note, Fridays are mandatory. The option to work from home 1 day a week is available.

Our client, a leading financial services business based in Ipswich, is seeking a Part Time Communications Executive to join their small marketing team. As a key member of their team, you will be working alongside the Head of Marketing to deliver a wide range of marketing communications that articulate the business' key priorities and connect with their internal audience.

In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on various marketing platforms, including digital marketing, staff communications, and events.

Your responsibilities will include:

 •  Planning, implementing, and developing communications projects
 •  Coordinating all internal communications, including intranet news articles, internal communications projects, and staff events
 •  Collaborating closely with the HR, Finance, and Business Support teams to support internal communications campaigns throughout the Group
 •  Working closely with the integration team to coordinate all communications activities for business acquisitions
 •  Assisting the Digital Marketing and Campaigns Manager in creating content across all digital channels, especially for campaigns targeting both internal and external audiences, such as website content and optimisation, social media content and maintenance of the social media calendar, and email and social media campaigns
 •  Collaborating with the Head of Marketing to continually improve internal communications tools and platforms, including the development of the firm's intranet

To be successful in this role, you should have:

 •  A proven track record in the production of a range of collateral
 •  Demonstrable experience in producing high calibre written content
 •  Experience in digital marketing techniques, including email campaigns, SEO, and social media content
 •  An understanding of public relations
 •  Strong IT skills and experience in creating documents using Microsoft software, including Word and PowerPoint
 •  Working knowledge of systems such as WordPress, Google Analytics, SurveyMonkey, and MailChimp would be advantageous
 •  Strong copywriting, proofreading, and content creation skills
 •  The ability to work well with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally
 •  A proactive approach to training and personal development
 •  A degree level or marketing related qualification would be desirable
