The Job You’ll Do;
• Swiftly resolve breakdowns, minimizing production downtime by identifying and addressing root issues.
• Maintain electrical and mechanical systems via planned preventative measures to uphold production efficiency.
• Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance, manage software programming, and oversee mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment breakdowns.
• Install, enhance, and repair equipment, plant infrastructure, and building installations for continuous improvement.
• Take a proactive stance in identifying potential hazards, promptly reporting root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management.
• Supervise external contractors for factory-related service work, such as fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
About You;
• Completion of a time-served apprenticeship in electrical maintenance.
• Post-training experience in an electrical maintenance role within Engineering/Manufacturing.
• Qualification to HND level in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry knowledge.
• Proficiency in automation, robotics, and PLCs (desirable)
• Experience maintaining injection and compression moulding machines (desirable).
• Knowledge or certification in 5S and other production improvement methodologies (desirable)
