What will I be doing?
The Financial Controller is a crucial role in maintaining financial discipline, ensuring transparency, and contributing to the overall financial health and success of the Warner business. This role encompasses financial reporting, tax, payroll, banking, transaction processing and maintaining robust and efficient financial systems, is a key position within the Warner finance department.
What skills do I need?
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to management and external stakeholders
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statement and coordinate the external auditor process
• Deliver accurate and efficient payroll processes, ensuring compliance with applicable payroll related regulatory requirements including National Minimum Wage compliance
• Lead Warner’s banking relationships and ensuring effective and secure payment processing systems and payment process are maintained
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and optimise the businesses tax efficiency
• Maintain and implement financial systems to maintain a strong controls environment and continuously improve the efficiency of our financial processes
• Business partner with the Support office cost centre owners, ensuring information is available to enable tight cost control
• Lead and develop the financial control team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
• Ensure strong working relationships between the Financial Control team and the Warner FP&A and Operations Finance team
