Site Assistant Manager – Doncaster
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join existing team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing leadership, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and optimizing site operations.
The role:
• Provide leadership and set high expectations for site staff.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental rules and management systems.
• Monitor, control, and optimize activities across the site, including inbound and outbound materials, plant operations and staff workflow.
• Oversee work performed by contractors and ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Continuous monitoring of standards related to housekeeping, safety, health, welfare, environment, and production quality control.
• Ensure site security and overview documentation relevant to ISO standards.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with Director, Site Manager, and all site staff.
The Candidate:
• Experience with manufacturing/processing plant operations.
• Strong Organizational and leadership abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self – motivated with problem-solving abilities
• Experience driving mobile plant, particularly FLT, Loading Shovel, and grab.
• Proven experience in a supervisor or similar role
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
07:00 – 18:00
Salary:
£14.00 - £16.00 Per hour (Depending on Experience)
