The appointed Office Accounts Manager will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary of £30,000 per annum, with a promising increase to £32,000 post a successful 6-month probationary period.
Key Responsibilities:
Dealing with the overall running of the office you will specifically oversee.....
• Taking orders and issuing delivery notes
• Take charge of Credit Control Management
• Forge and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and managing contracts.
• Demonstrate proficiency in SAGE for posting transactions, managing accounts, and generating accurate, timely reports.
• Oversee all banking and invoicing activities, maintaining meticulous financial records.
• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly reports to Directors, offering insightful analysis and recommendations.
• Coordinate and administer job costing analysis within the manufacturing division, working closely with the Production/Quality Manager.
• The ideal candidate will possess:
• A proven track record in office management, particularly within a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in credit control, cash flow analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in SAGE accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
• A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and pursue new business avenues.
