We are looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to support our busy procurement team. The Supply Chain Administrator plays a key role in supporting the efficient functioning of our supply chain management processes. Working closely with the Senior Supply Chain Manager and other team members, the Administrator assists in various aspects of supply chain management, procurement, and supplier coordination.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.

Accountabilities and key tasks:

Administration of Supply Chain Management Tool:

Oversee administrative tasks within our Supply Chain Management tool, including creating profiles, setting up alerts for subcontractors/consultants, and monitoring site activities for overdue packages and single supplier awards.

Onboarding:

Facilitate the onboarding process for new subcontractors/consultants, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements to streamline project initiation.

Scoring of Subcontractors:

Oversee the assessment of Key Performance Indicators of subcontractors and consultants on-site. Utilise scores to categorise the supply chain into Grades, thereby influencing decision-making on tender lists and selection processes.

Preconstruction:

Support the Senior Supply Chain Manager in the preparation of tender lists during the Pre-Construction stage. Source and cultivate a compliant and competent supply chain, while exploring opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Support in provision of social value and sustainability metrics of our supply chain to support our client bids.

Supply Chain Management:

Collaborate with the Senior Supply Chain Manager in efficiently managing key supplier accounts within Bouygues UK group procedures. Proactively address concerns raised by stakeholders or suppliers to ensure smooth operations and mitigate project risks.

Assist in coordinating supply chain awards to recognise outstanding supplier performance, thereby fostering positive and enduring relationships.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintain comprehensive records of supply chain management activities, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Generate comprehensive reports and analyses on various supply chain management metrics, providing valuable insights into supplier financial health, workload distribution, and performance indicators.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Foster collaboration with internal departments, including project management, pre-construction and finance, to coordinate supply chain management activities and deliver optimal project support.

Cultivate effective communication channels with subcontractors and external partners, ensuring prompt issue resolution and alignment on project requirements.

To be successful in the role you will be:

Team player, MS Office proficient, strong communication, detail-oriented, problem-solving, time management.

And ideally have:

Previous supply chain experience, ERP familiarity, basic supply chain knowledge, analytical skills, customer service, adaptable.
