Are you experienced managing a finance team and would like to work in a large family run business where you can make a difference?

We have an opportunity to join a large recruitment business with offices across the UK, Europe and Australia who are now looking for a new Head of Finance.

Job Title: Head of Finance
Location: Ashford Kent (Hybrid Working)
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

The Role

As Head of Finance, you will manage the financial reporting and the production of management information by the Family Office Finance Team. You will ensure the information is accurate and produced in a timely manner to include.

Responsible for the management of the Finance Team: Management accounts reporting, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Payroll.
In your role you will:
Ensure information provided to the Shareholders, other Directors, Senior Managers and Professional Advisors is accurate and supports business decisions.
meet with the Portfolio Director on a twice weekly basis, and if applicable the Group Managing Director on a weekly basis to highlight areas of opportunity and concern.
Manage and mentor the Finance Team to deliver timely, accurate information.
Provide Finance Team resource for financial analysis on adhoc projects.
Utilise NetSuite to maximise use of system tools and deliver best in practice reporting to the Directors.
Ensure that the business cashflow is accurately maintained up to date on a daily/weekly basis.
Oversee the payroll for all employees, ensuring all commissions and bonuses are included.
Ensure Payroll costs are to be posted onto NetSuite and associated tax liabilities reconciled, reported and paid in accordance with deadlines.
Calculation of P11Ds, including process, submission and payment of Class 1A NIC will also be undertaken by this role.

Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional qualification is preferred.
Strong financial and organisational skills with Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of industry and market trends
Experience with Netsuite desirable
