Job Description

A successful Packaging Planning Project Lead, located in Chester, will be responsible for:

 •  Manage and coordinate packaging projects from conception to completion.
 •  Develop project planning strategies to ensure the efficient use of resources.
 •  Lead cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
 •  Implement risk management plans to mitigate potential project obstacles.
 •  Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise.
 •  Act as the main point of contact for all project-related queries.
 •  Prepare project reports and updates to stakeholders.
 •  Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Packaging Planning Project Lead should have:

 •  A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
 •  Proven experience in project management or supply chain improvement roles, preferably within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
 •  Exceptional leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage cross-functional teams.
 •  Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
 •  Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
 •  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
 •  Ability to influence across all levels and functions
 •  SAP experience would be beneficial but not essential.
