We are looking to recruit a Branch Manager to join this Builders Merchants in Castleisland, County Kerry. The Branch Manager will have an enthusiastic and strategic approach, driving staff development, continual growth, and improvements as well as developing a motivated and highly customer focused, results driven team.
What we are looking for…
• Highly organised, results driven individual
• Previous experience in a builders merchants, with product and market knowledge
• Listens and communicates effectively with their team
• Sets appropriate goals for self and others and encourages others to achieve
• Excellent IT skills including use of all Microsoft packages
• Ability to accurately report and deliver/present results
• Exceptional customer services skills with a proven track record of achieving results
Key Responsibilities:
• Leading and motivating your branch team to achieve sales, gross margin, and other key business targets.
• Analyse the sales performance of the branch using daily, weekly, and monthly information available.
• Develop strong internal and external relationships in order to build profitable business growth.
• Manage effective completion of day-to-day branch functions in sales, operations & administration.
• Staff development and coaching, including appraisals and KPIs.
• Work with other branches, including Online Sales and Central Sales, to maximise the overall footfall of the company.
• Planning the future and current needs of the branch in relation to products, stock levels and transport requirements.
• Pro-actively lead weekly/monthly meetings with appropriate branch staff, setting agendas and noting and agreeing on key actions to take forwards.
• Take ownership for the security and safety of the branch including managing any cash on site and all safety policies and procedures.
• Positively input into all senior stakeholder meetings.
