Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: West Bromwich
Hours of work: Sunday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:00am
Salary: £33,500 Per Annum + 25% Shift allowance (£44,375 Per Annum)
Our client based in West Bromwich is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work within their busy manufacturing plant.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for completing routine and emergency repairs to equipment, fixtures, fittings and building systems. Your duties will include responding to reports of broken or faulty items, conducting routine inspections of buildings and liaising with external specialists and contractors.
Role Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment.
Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed.
Candidate requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance role
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic systems
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals.
Experience with logic controllers and other automation systems
Welding experience is an advantage.
Ability to supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians.
Strong communication skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail
Customer service-oriented mind set
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Hours of work
Sunday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:00am
