CNC Recruitment are working as a recruitment agency, and proud to support a global leader in manufacturing of precision systems, assemblies, and components.

The Role:

Manufacturing/Quality Engineer

Roles and responsibilities:

Compile routings for all new drawings/part numbers.

Ensure BoMs are correct to drawings, include all components and consumables required for jobs.

Assist pricing/enquiry with engineering knowledge.

MoA management – updating and refining processes to improve performance, quality and efficiency (Quality/NCR/actual times driven).

Regular contact with Production team to ensure manufacturing instructions are up to date and trained.

Improving efficiency in manufacturing processes (i.e. from data analysis of yield, NCRs, SFDC data etc)

Creating/developing manufacturing processes for the product.

Improving current product/design using manufacturing knowledge for performance, quality to create an improved product.

Being the technical hub for all manufacturing issues/queries.

Research into new technologies (machinery/components etc) to improve manufacturing processes, and to improve final products (quality).

Design tooling/jigs to assist in manufacturing processes, if none exist.

Utilise Lean knowledge to create efficient ways of working.

A continuous improvement mindset

Ensure Quality of delivered products

Tooling and Calibration control.

Internal Auditing.

Supporting External Audits.

Maintenance of Business Systems Manual.

Monitoring an entire production process and performing regular tests to identify potential problems and non-conformance.

Preparing reports and documentations for NCRs and corrective measures

Reviewing and preparing quality documentation.

Key skills and attributes

A quality engineering background

High attention to detail

engineering / manufacturing QA experience.

Strong understanding of the technical aspects of products and the ability to convey complex information effectively.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.

Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.

Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Business, Marketing, etc.) is preferred.
