They work closely with residents and their loved ones to ensure that care and activities consider each resident’s individual preferences, whilst care needs are always met.
Daily activities can include day trips out, and for those that don’t like to venture too far, they can enjoy the lovely garden to relax and unwind.

Day-to-Day tasks could include:

 •  Help getting in and out of bed.
 •  Washing and bathing.
 •  Dressing.
 •  Preparing drinks.
 •  Assisting with medication.
 •  Toileting.
 •  Assisting with mealtimes.
 •  Domestic duties.

To be successful in the role you will need to have a caring attitude and be keen to make a difference, treating elderly and vulnerable people with respect.

You will have excellent communication skills and able to work well as part of a team.

You will be able to build and maintain good working relationships with all residents, family, visitors and colleagues.
