Our client are a multi-national civil and infrastructure group looking for a Technical Assurance and Handover Manager based in Birmingham, Curzon Street HS2 Project.
Role:
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the preparation, implementation and maintenance of the Technical Assurance Plan.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Be accountable for preparing, implementing and keeping up to date the discipline specific plans
Ensure that sound engineering and V&V result in the production of the evidence that assures all relevant stakeholders
Ensure that the assurance evidence is progressively is delivered through each project lifecycle
Be responsible for implementing and maintaining up to date processes for Requirements, Requirements V&, Standards and Departures
Responsible for handover between subcontractor and client, ensuring the correct handover documentation is available progressively to complete the works
Essential Requirements:
Experience within a similar role within an appropriately sized engineering organisation
Educated to degree or higher level in a numerate discipline, typically Engineering discipline
Membership of an appropriate professional body
Desirable:
Strong working knowledge of relevant regulations, such as Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
Ability to manage teams in a multi-disciplinary environment
