Hospo Talent are currently recruiting for a CDP or a Pastry Chef, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, contributing to the creation of memorable dining moments. Your expertise will be essential in creating and executing mouth-watering dishes to consistently meet and exceed their guests' expectations.
Our Client is well established hotel with a fine dining restaurant in the Ayrshire area.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute high-quality menus for various dining outlets, including the clubhouse restaurant, banquets, and special events.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring culinary excellence and adherence to all health and safety standards.
• Lead and inspire the kitchen brigade to maintain a culture of teamwork, creativity, and excellence.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to meet financial objectives while maintaining exceptional quality.
• Stay abreast of culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques and ingredients into menu development.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior culinary position in a high-end dining establishment.
• Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating innovative dishes.
• Knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients, with a commitment to sustainability.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• A creative approach to menu development and a willingness to experiment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
