 •  Full time - 40 hours (part time hours also available)

Tucked away in a peaceful cul-de-sac, Llun Y Mynydd boasts its own secure gated access, ensuring a sense of safety and privacy for all residents. Llanfoist offers a tight-knit community with excellent public transport and amenities that include a popular church hall, a post office, a pharmacy, and a supermarket.
The village also sits just below the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, offering leisurely walks along the picturesque waterway.

A night in the life of working at Llun y Mynydd includes:

Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment; Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration; Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones; Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs; Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise; General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation;Sound good so far? We are looking for people who care and have:

A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships; Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs; A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team; Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes; Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts; A driving licence isn't essential, but would be advantageous;Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
